The “Microsoft Excel Training” was reorganized at Ibn Haldun University upon high demand from students. Held in collaboration with the Career and Development Club, the training was delivered by Sönmez Çelik, Director of the IHU Library Department.
The training took place between April 7 and April 30, 2026, as a four-week program. Held at the M. Akif Ersoy Meeting Hall in the IHU Library, the program offered students the opportunity to gain an introduction to Microsoft Excel while improving their data analysis, chart creation, and basic calculation skills.
Throughout the training, participants learned the fundamental functions of Excel through practical exercises and engaged in activities aimed at strengthening their analytical thinking skills. The program aimed to equip students with essential Excel competencies that they may need in both their academic and professional lives.
Students who successfully completed the training became eligible to receive a certificate of participation. The Microsoft Excel Training contributed to the development of students’ digital competencies and strengthened the technical skills they may need throughout their career journeys.
