Our university continues to support the academic, personal, and professional development of our alumni by providing various opportunities. Below, you will find detailed information about the advantages offered by our different units for the 2024–2025 Academic Year.

Opportunities Provided to Our Alumni by the Library

Graduates who hold an IHU Alumni Card are entitled to benefit from the library and its resources on-site and without time limitation.

In order to benefit from the borrowing service and to use the library during evening hours, alumni are required to complete a library membership registration and pay a deposit fee.

Alumni who complete their membership registration may use:

• The 1st and 2nd floors on weekdays between 08:00–17:00,
• The library including the ground floor between 17:00–23:00,
• Only the ground floor on weekends between 10:00–17:00.

Borrowing and Usage Rights

Loan Period – Number of Books – Deposit

2 Weeks – 1 – 3000 TL
2 Weeks – 2 – 5000 TL

Note: IHU alumni are entitled to benefit from library services and resources within the library without time limitation.

User Responsibilities

Alumni users may benefit from services and facilities within the scope of their membership by presenting the university-issued ID card. Use of the library is subject to the “Library Working Hours and General Rules.” The Library reserves the right to cancel the membership of users who fail to comply with university and library regulations.

Users are required to:

• Use library materials carefully, without marking or damaging them,
• Maintain silence in designated quiet study areas,
• Comply with computer usage rules,
• Refrain from behaviors that may disrupt research or other library activities,
• Present a valid ID upon request.

Opportunities Provided to Our Alumni by the Sports Center

With our newly renovated facilities, we invite you to Başakşehir’s largest sports center!

• Our alumni can benefit from fitness, swimming, spa, and group classes for one month with a monthly membership fee of 750 TL.
• The spouses and children over the age of 15 of our alumni can benefit from the same facilities with a monthly membership fee of 1,000 TL.
• A 50% discount is applied to hourly rentals provided that all participants are alumni or currently enrolled students of our University.
