As part of the technical visit and student development activities organized by Ibn Haldun University Career Center, a visit to SETA (Foundation for Political, Economic and Social Research) was held on November 24, 2025. Students from various departments of the university took part in the program, which was conducted under the guidance of SETA Academy Director Faruk Yaslıçimen.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to closely observe the role of think-tank organizations in Türkiye’s political, economic, and social processes. Through Faruk Yaslıçimen’s briefings, participants gained comprehensive information about SETA’s position in the field, its areas of work, ongoing research projects, and published policy analyses.
Throughout the program, students reflected on how they could integrate their academic knowledge with the operations of a professional think-tank in practice. They also had the chance to develop concrete ideas about shaping their career paths within this sector.
The visit concluded as a productive experience that helped students connect theoretical learning with real-world applications and enhanced their awareness of future career goals.
