International Law Internship Opportunity for Our Students in Qatar and Kuwait
As the Career Center of Ibn Haldun University, in collaboration with Kılınç Law & Consultancy, we provided our students with a two-week international internship opportunity in Qatar and Kuwait. Our students gained hands-on experience particularly in arbitration and international commercial law, while observing global legal practice on-site.

As the Career Center of Ibn Haldun University, we continue to develop qualified partnerships that enable our students to apply their academic knowledge in international settings. Within this framework, through our collaboration with Kılınç Law & Consultancy, our students were provided with a two-week international internship opportunity in Qatar and Kuwait.

As part of this program, made possible through our university’s strong institutional connections in the Gulf region, our students completed their internships at Al Sulaiti Law Firm in Qatar between January 19–30, and at Al Yaqout & Al G-Fouzan Legal Group in Kuwait between January 26 – February 6. This intensive two-week program allowed our students to closely observe international legal practice and gain first-hand experience of professional work culture.

During the internship period, our students were involved in case files and legal processes particularly in the fields of arbitration, international commercial law, contract law, and corporate law. They had the opportunity to examine alternative dispute resolution methods widely applied in the Gulf region, and actively contributed to tasks such as case file analysis, contract review and drafting, legal research, and the preparation of legal opinions. They also attended internal meetings and client consultations as observers, gaining valuable insights into the functioning of international law firms.

The program contributed not only to their professional development but also to their cultural awareness and global perspective. By observing different legal systems on-site, our students examined the reflections of Islamic law and modern legal practices in Gulf countries, while also expanding their international professional networks.

As the Career Center, our goal is to ensure that our students graduate not only with theoretical knowledge but also as individuals equipped with global experience and competencies. Our collaboration with Kılınç Law & Consultancy represents a significant step in our students’ international career journeys.

We will continue to expand our international internship and partnership programs and to connect our students with qualified global opportunities.
