The “HalduniDer Traditional Alumni Iftar” was organized for the second time this year through the collaboration of the Career Center operating under the Directorate of Strategy and Resource Development at Ibn Haldun University and the Alumni and Members Association (HalduniDer). Held on Monday, March 9, 2026, on the Ibn Haldun University campus, the program brought together the university’s alumni, students, and members of the university community at the same table in the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan.
The program began with opening speeches by Rector of Ibn Haldun University Prof. Dr. Atilla Arkan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees Bilal Erdoğan, and HalduniDer President Beyza Barutçu. During the speeches, the importance of strengthening the bond between alumni and the university was emphasized, noting that alumni are an integral part of the university ecosystem. It was also highlighted that such gatherings reinforce the sense of belonging to the university and provide opportunities for alumni from different graduating classes to interact with one another.
The event, which saw strong participation, brought together not only alumni and students but also members of the Board of Trustees and prominent figures from the business world. Among the participants were Başakşehir Mayor and Member of the Board of Trustees Yasin Kartoğlu, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Eroğlu Holding Nurettin Eroğlu, and Chairman of Rönesans Holding Erman Ilıcak. The program served as a meaningful gathering that united different generations of the Ibn Haldun University community.
Held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, the event concluded with participants expressing their satisfaction and taking commemorative photos. Through this gathering organized by the Ibn Haldun University Career Center and HalduniDer, it is aimed to further strengthen the bond between the university and its alumni.
