The Entrepreneurship-Themed Roundtable Meeting organized by the İbn Haldun University Career Center took place on 27 November 2025, attracting strong interest from students. During the event, participants had the opportunity to explore the dynamics of the entrepreneurship ecosystem firsthand with Akif Çildan, the Founder and CEO of Papyon Room Service Solutions.
As part of the Career Center’s student development initiatives, the program focused on the rise of technology-driven ventures, innovative business models, and current trends shaping the entrepreneurship landscape. The session was held in a warm and interactive roundtable setting at the Student Center.
Throughout the meeting, Akif Çildan shared Papyon’s founding story, its expanding operations in Türkiye and the United Kingdom, collaborations with more than 1,650 hotels, and its digital transformation solutions provided in over 45,000 rooms. He addressed the challenges and opportunities encountered along the entrepreneurial journey and discussed strategic approaches essential for achieving sustainable success, while actively engaging with participants’ questions.
Attendees gained valuable entrepreneurial perspectives on topics such as technology, innovation, customer experience, marketing strategies, and scalability, and were able to draw inspiration for their own career goals.
The event concluded as a productive and engaging experience, contributing to IHU students’ professional growth by connecting them with innovative leaders from the business world.
