Why did you choose to do a master's degree in the psychology of religion at Ibn Haldun University?
Explaining psychologically the various religious and spiritual experiences of people and examining the effects of religion and spirituality on people was a subject that caught my attention. Therefore, I chose this section to understand and explain the "moral and spiritual aspects" that distinguish human beings from other living things, and to transform the data I have obtained into scientific knowledge with the training given by my valuable teachers who are experts in their fields.
What are the contributions of Ibn Haldun University to your student life and your life after graduation?
During my student life, I benefited from many opportunities such as being able to examine a subject from more than one point of view, being in constant communication with my professors, attending classes by taking one-on-one trainings. This has improved me a little more each day. I think that my development has deepened my perspective on life and subjects after graduation. The enjoyment I received during my education also increased my interest in the academic world. I want to continue this interest with my doctorate.
How Did You Shape Your Career After Graduation?
By conducting research in the light of the information I learned from my professors at Ibn Haldun University and the activities I attended, I prepared a master's thesis that I believe will contribute to the world of science with a current topic I have chosen. In my thesis, I wanted to do a study by blending “new media and religious sciences”. This contributed to my ability to specialize in a subject by dealing with different disciplines and to increase my interest in the media. After graduation, I started a job where I could put into practice what I learned and wrote with an interdisciplinary perspective during my graduate studentship. I am currently working on new media in a television channel. At the same time, I continue my academic studies.
I would like to thank all my teachers and Ibn Haldun University who have contributed to my life.
