Fulbright Master's and PhD Scholarship

Dear Alumni and Prospective Graduates,

Applications for the prestigious Fulbright Master's and PhD Scholarship program, for students who wish to pursue graduate or doctoral studies in the United States, have now opened!

The Fulbright Scholarship is a comprehensive two-year program awarded to candidates with high academic achievement, leadership potential, and the ability to contribute to cultural exchange between Turkey and the United States. The scholarship duration covers one academic year (9-12 months) based on the academic calendar of the chosen university, with a second year (up to 9 months) extended based on performance.

Who Can Apply for the Fulbright Scholarship?

• 3rd and 4th-year undergraduate students
• Recent graduates
• Those planning to pursue a master’s degree
• Those applying for a PhD or integrated PhD programs

Application Deadline: Monday, March 24, 2024

Required Documents for the Application Process:

1.English CV

Ensure your CV reflects your academic achievements, research experiences, and leadership roles.

2.Personal Statement

• Your academic background and areas of interest
• The topic you wish to research and your goals
• How studying in the U.S. will contribute to your career and your country

3.Study/Research Objective

A critical document for PhD and research-focused programs. Clearly outline your field of study, research questions, and methods.

4.Reference Letters

Applicants must submit three reference letters from academic or professional circles.

5.Academic Performance Criteria

• For Master’s Scholarship: A minimum GPA of 3.00/4.00
• For PhD Scholarship: A minimum GPA of 3.50/4.00

Fulbright Scholarship Benefits:

• Up to $60,000 annually (including tuition fees, living expenses, books, and other academic costs)
