Applications are now open for the Academic Mentorship Program, organized in collaboration with the Career Center and Başakşehir Municipality!
This special program aims to support the academic, career, and values-based development of high school students by enabling Ibn Haldun University students to share their knowledge, experience, and motivation. Throughout the program, mentors will work under the guidance of professional psychological counselors and strengthen their mentoring skills through regular supervision meetings, case analyses, and development sessions.
Program Details:
Duration: January 2026 – May 2026 Meeting Frequency: One face-to-face/online mentorship session per week (30–40 minutes) Structure: 1 mentor will be matched with 3 mentees (high school students) Venue: Başakşehir Municipality Supervision: 1 supervision meetings per month (guided by psychological counselors)
Who Can Apply?
- Active undergraduate (3rd or 4th year) or graduate students of Ibn Haldun University - Students with strong communication skills, a sense of responsibility, and motivation for volunteering - Candidates who can commit to weekly mentorship sessions throughout the program - Individuals who value ethics, confidentiality, and teamwork
Selection Process:
- Applications will be evaluated through a pre-screening process. - Eligible candidates will be invited to group interviews and case analysis sessions. - Final selections will be made by psychological counselor supervisors and the academic coordination team.
