Dear Students and Alumni,

Yeryüzü Çocukları Association is now accepting applications for its Volunteer Department Management role. Volunteers in this position will actively support the association’s educational projects, event organizations, and volunteer coordination efforts, contributing to meaningful social impact.

Responsibilities

  • Expanding the volunteer network and promoting volunteerism
  • Organizing motivational activities for volunteers (trainings, workshops, trips, etc.)
  • Establishing and managing volunteer structures in various districts of Istanbul and other cities
  • Creating and managing youth volunteer communities in universities and high schools
  • Building collaborations with public institutions, NGOs, and community groups
  • Encouraging volunteers to participate in fundraising and campaign activities
  • Welcoming visitors at the association center and guiding prospective volunteers

Qualifications

  • Preferably at least 2 years of experience in volunteer management or NGO work
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, outgoing personality
  • Interest in developing a career in the civil society sector
  • Strong planning, coordination, and presentation skills
  • Ability to adapt to flexible working conditions
  • Multitasking and problem-solving abilities
  • Team leadership and coordination experience
  • No travel restrictions; preferably able to drive
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs
  • Residence in Istanbul
  • Ideal candidates are team-oriented, strong communicators, and passionate about social responsibility. Volunteers receive regular training and orientation support.
