From Career Paths: Alumni Perspectives - The Al Jazeera Experience

Dear Students and Alumni,

We are pleased to announce our event titled “From Career Path: Alumni Perspectives – Al Jazeera Experience.”

This event is organized in collaboration with the Career Center and the IHU Alumni and Members Association. We will host Hasan Hadri, who currently serves as Engagement Team Lead at Al Jazeera Media Network and conducts MA research on the role of AI in misinformation and post-conflict media ecosystems.

Hasan Hadri is also the co-founder of Kashaf, a Syrian fact-checking and OSINT verification initiative, and has designed AI training programs for newsrooms, academics, and research teams. In addition, he has worked at major media organizations such as TRT and Syria TV and has contributed to the establishment and development of various startups. Currently, he works at the intersection of journalism, academic research, and emerging AI tools.
